Phum Baitang
The grounds were absolutely beautiful — most hotels don't have such expansive outdoor space, and this one truly stood out. The small, individual villas felt like your own private mini house, which made the stay feel very special. I also loved that the organic fruit was grown on-site — it added a unique, authentic touch.
There should have been more choice when it came to food, and overall the food quality wasn't the best. But the setting, the sense of privacy and the feeling of being immersed in nature more than made up for it. It is a property that stays with you.
Four Seasons Bangkok
Very stylish — the design and architecture are striking, and the riverside setting along the Chao Phraya gives it a sense of place that many city hotels lack.
However, it felt quite large and a bit cold in atmosphere, which I didn't love. For a property of this calibre, I expected more warmth and intimacy in the guest experience.
Belmond Hotel Caruso
The pool is amazing with stunning views over the Amalfi coastline, and the food is genuinely excellent — refined, seasonal and beautifully presented.
Nice overall, but the layout felt a bit unusual due to its position on the mountain. The terraced structure means a lot of stairs and slightly disjointed pathways. That said, the views from every vantage point are extraordinary and the dining experience alone makes it worth the visit.
Sextantio
The best breakfast I've ever had. We also had a private dinner where a local woman cooked for us, and it was honestly some of the best food we've ever tasted. You could actually hear her preparing everything and bringing each dish out as it was ready, which made it feel so personal and special.
The setting itself is like something out of a movie — completely surreal and unforgettable. The ancient cave rooms have been restored with extraordinary care, preserving every detail of their history while providing genuine comfort. It is one of the most unique properties in the world.
